There are echoes of Egypt in this piece of furniture, nomadic, part stele, part obelisk set in the sands of the Sahara. This writing desk is in lacquered MDF, with a magic opening lid to provide a writing surface. The base is in light metal. It has been exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs (Interior Design Exhibition).
