The Sideral Table
The sidereal table appears to have its origins in a distant galaxy – the Milky Way perhaps. It is a conference table with a difference: the chairperson sits not at the end but in the middle, as in Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper. When the disciples – the architectural team – are gathered on both sides, then the discussion can begin.
The sidereal table was exhibited in the Interior Design Exhibition in Paris and immediately purchased at the preview reception by Pierre Cardin for his private furniture collection. It can be used both as a conference table and as a futuristic dining table.
